What we collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to provide it:

We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as health information, political opinions or biometric data) through this website.
Legal basis
We process your personal data on the basis of:
- Contractual necessity — when we are preparing or performing a services agreement with you or your organisation.
- Legitimate interest — when we respond to a genuine business enquiry, maintain our relationship with you, or protect our legal rights.
- Consent — when you sign up for news, invitations or marketing communications. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@saga-advisory.com.
How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and book meetings.
- To match you with the right Saga partner or technology partner.
- To send the materials or invitations you requested.
- To improve our website and understand which markets generate interest.
- To comply with legal or regulatory obligations, including anti-corruption and export-control checks where required.
Who we share with
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with:
- Our technology partners — only when you request a technical meeting or screening and only the minimum information needed to prepare that meeting.
- Service providers — such as email delivery, analytics, and hosting providers, under strict processing terms.
- Regulators or authorities — only when required by applicable law.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in Norway, South Africa, the EU/EEA, and the United States (where our email and hosting providers operate). We rely on adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses where required.
Retention
We keep personal data for 24 months from the date of your last interaction with us, unless:
- a longer period is required by law;
- we have an active contractual relationship with you; or
- you ask us to delete it earlier.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion of your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time; and
- lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or your local supervisory authority.
